The Province I Energy Stewardship Ministry invites us to serve Christ by reducing our impact on Creation. Specifically, we are called to decrease our congregational energy use as responsible stewards of our church’s financial resources and the natural world. As we reduce our energy use we lessen our carbon footprint, responding to the growing threat of climate change. At the very same time as money is saved on utility bills, we have more resources for God’s mission in the world. Imagine the possibility of reducing congregational energy bills by 20-30% as we work together to preserve God’s Creation. The Episcopal Church has just released a resource guide for congregations to begin or expand their energy stewardship program. Details are below: Getting Started on the Genesis Covenant:
