Program, Budget and Finance presents budget to General Convention
The Joint Standing Committee on Program, Budget and Finance completed its work on the proposed 2013-15 budget and presented it to the House of Bishops and the House of Deputies in a joint session at 2:15 pm Eastern on July 10. The Honorable Byron Rushing Elected Vice President of the House of Deputies
Byron Rushing from the Diocese of Massachusetts was elected on the second ballot July 11 to serve as the next vice president of the House of Deputies. Dante Tavolaro is a lay deputy from the Diocese of RI. This is my third General Convention and second time as a deputy. I am a parishioner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Pawtucket RI where I served in music and formation ministries and currently serve on the vestry.
